Nothing has really happened since I declared the changes that will be going on later.
First, I came back to completely venerating Koda Kumi. This time it’s even more! I love her new album, Kingdom just released in January and have fallen more in love with her previous ones and several of her beautiful music videos! Koda Kumi is such a perfect singer in so many ways and may be considered almost as good as Utada Hikaru. They both have very different styles of music but in these two different genres, they’re the best at it! I can’t stop listening to “Kingdom!” it’s one of the best albums in the face of the earth!
Sofy and I have a completely light conscience now because our science fair is a success, and all our test subjects were impressively into it and the little kids we tested keep on asking what the results were. All the publicity is just the beginning. Besides our project being school-known (I’m such a show-off), the science teacher told us she’d never seen anyone in all her years of experience who collected data so well and organized the well-collected data so well. Then Beebs joined in and started to discuss that we had a shot at winning and going to the United States as observers. The science teacher agreed. That made my day, and Bo (Sofy) and I are going to work so hard that time will fly by and soon we’ll be presenting to the judges. Now that all the testing is complete, we don’t have anything to worry about!
The teachers have been very nice to us and given simple and easy projects and homeworks and that’s a great sign! Since we’re halfway through the year already and if the teachers actually wanted to overload us again, they’d already have started!
I also think my grades are going well and that I’m very dedicated this quarter! My science grades are increasing and that’s amazing because I hated science and used to go bad… But then we changed teachers and I guess it all got a lot better.
Other than that, Bo had lent me the two seasons of “How I Met Your Mother” and it’s absolutely awesome! Far better than I ever imagined and it definitely shares a spot with “Ugly Betty” as my second favorite series! Alyson Hannigan is so beautiful and skinny in every episode that I have considered changing my favorite actress, but I came right back to Sarah Michelle Gellar after!
This week was pretty good to me! I hope it continues like this throughout this year.

Now that this great single has been released, I just have to wait for her amazing upcoming album to be released!
Sofy, Pamela and I had been so excited for today for one fact: Tooms (Our english teacher would be celebrating her birthday today) (Oh, and I was especially happy because Utada Hikaru’s latest single, HEART STATION/Stay Gold was released today).
Yesterday we planned out a special little party for her, with a cake (Actually two mini-cakes), balloons, juice and our wonderful present: A 2-Disc CD with all our favorite songs for her to listen to. It even came with a booklet with all the tracks from each CD (One made by me, the other by Sofy), an “About the Album” page and a “Dedication to Tooms” page. It turned out fabulously perfect thanks to our graphic designer, Bo (Sofy)!
We were very excited to throw the precious party, but then Gisele (The principal’s secretary) came by and was scolding some kids for celebrating for some reason and was screaming at them that the “situation is serious and she’s in the hospital!” We later found out she had a motorcycle accident and was at the hospital… These news ruined our day and we felt really bad for her. She was carefully riding her motorcycle until something happened and she fell, scraped her arms and hands and the impacted cause her a black eye… Thank God she was wearing a helmet… our innocent little Tooms!
She suffered a concussion and doesn’t even remember that the accident happened.
No one helped, until two bikers came along and called 192 (911 in Brazil) to help her out. She’s fine now and she’s being taken care of, I think monday she’ll be back to school with lots to tell!
The surprise party we planned was neatly put into a bag, and tied with a ribbon which connected the bag, a card and two balloons together. Today our other teacher, Beebs is visiting her and she’ll bring it for us. I really hope Tooms loves the CD as much as I love it! I also hope she recovers fast!

The parties and get-togethers are over and tomorrow the hard work begins because of science fair, because the abstract of our experiment is due on friday.
Like I always do, first I want to express how I feel about that. Science fair can bring us scholarships, future knowledge about many things, but I believe it should be completely optional. Sofy and I (We’re doing the science fair together this year) are feeling very pressured and everyone insists on telling us how we’re doing it on the last minute. We need around 100 test subjects and all the tons of homework we had the last two quarters and all the holidays since the beginning of this year didn’t help. Every person who says we’re late on science fair barely started and I’m sick of these hypocrites. Do they want us to not do it at all because it’s the last week? Because it’s not like we can turn back in time. It’s not like they’re making a point by saying that.
The table which our subjects will be filling isn’t ready yet (Nor xeroxed) and we planned to begin testing tomorrow. I have no clue how we’ll do this but I know we’ll pull it through, Sofy and I are unbeatable! No matter what, we always pull it through! But the problem is the torture we’re exposed to while we’re in the process.
We don’t have as much homework, tests or projects as I expected, so that helps, more time to work on our science fair… and the homework we do have, I already anticipated. Science fair is so terrible to my health, something always happens since 6th grade to put me down… Here’s the list:
6th grade (With Talita): Terrible and incomplete idea, execution and analysis of data. The project was a complete failure, inside and out.
7th grade (With Cary): Great idea, terrible execution and lots of criticism, and it really put Cary and I down… The way we recorded our data was awful… nothing could’ve been worse.
8th grade (With Sofy): Yet to be completed, but so far, other than the due date and all the rest, things are looking up and the project is totally do-able! We have all the test subjects we wanted and three days to test them.
I guess what I’m really worried about is if the 4th graders decide to be tested today and we don’t have their forms. I hate doing things last minute, but it’s for the best and for a good cause. I know we’ll go well this year! I have this feeling!
Today I visited two great girls’ houses, one because of a get together, and the other because of a birthday party.
First, in Cary’s house… Sofy and I visited her for lunch and a get together. We arrived and almost immediately went to have lunch. It was good and I ate a lot. Right after that, we went up to the computer and watched a few videos related to Utada Hikaru or Mad Tv. After all the laughing, we decided to mess around in MSN with a classmate of ours. We put the webcam on, but he couldn’t see Sofy and I, so we decided to feed his creativity by grabbing Carol’s head and dragging it back… But it looked like something else… So we decided to feed his imagination even more… Lets say it ended in a very weird way and he came over. It was pretty awkward. Only some time after he came we needed to go to the party… So we did.
At the beginning, we watched a movie, called “Os Normais,” it’s a national movie from Brazil, so you probably don’t know it. There were many people who found the movie boring, but it was very funny. Half the people left the room because of the criticism. The other half left little by little until Sofy and I were left. We left before the end of the movie because the funny parts ended. After that, things got boring for a while because there wasn’t much to do. The funny episode of the night was already approaching.
It had been raining lightly for the whole afternoon, and at night it was no different. A girl’s purse was left under the rain for the whole night, and it was only later that Alice and told her. I got it for her. Alice seemed to not like it so much and left her purse under the rain for me to get it. We pretended to be doing a whole scene and I got it for her. Then she makes up this whole deal about “Ghetto Girls” and made up characters for each girl. She was something like Lequoia, and for the rest of the night, they put up funny skits about their characters and made us laugh for the whole night. Alice and I even made a rap/ghetto version of that song “Jack and Jill went up the hill…”
I had to leave before we watched the terror movie that the birthday girl rented. It was a pretty cool party and pretty cool visit to Cary’s house.

Today is February 12th, guess what was supposed to happen on the 12th? My Hikki items were supposed to get here.
I’ve already gone to the mail post friday and I just went there today. I gave the man a paper with all the information of my order, and he went into a room… My hopes went high up when he took out this package and looked at it and started to compare the information on it with the one of the paper I had just given him. I was almost smiling of so much joy I felt, but then he put the package back and came to us and said “Nothing here.”
I was very upset, people shouldn’t mess with other’s emotions like that. I went from the happiest person in earth to the most upset in a matter os seconds. It’s just wrong.
I was very upset because my order still ain’t here and YesAsia declared it would. I sent them an e-mail expressing my foul mood and they said that they’d really appreciate it if I were to wait until the 27th, considering the fact that they shipped it to me January 27th. It shouldn’t take a month for my order to get here. I thought my long days of convincing myself it’d get here were over, but they’re really not, and I’m very tired of waiting, I’ve lost my hopes on ever receiving it and I don’t know what to look forward to anymore… Something that was so near that I could smell it, became so distant from my grip… In two weeks I’ll be having it (If, unlike all the other times, they actually say the truth)… and I couldn’t be more upset with them.

Yesterday Carol invited some friends over to her house to have some fun together, as in a birthday party, except that nobody was having a birthday, and as of today, hers is exactly one month behind. She planned this get-together a long time ago because her birth date was in vacation, so we just went to the mall together that day, but she had planned on making this party later, after everything had settled after vacation.
I had so much fun! It was so awesome. I was supposed to bring her my Mandy Moore albums so she could take a look at them, but I don’t know where they are, so I brought the DVD “The Adventures of Mimi” and the CD & DVD “Spice Girls: Greatest Hits.” After all the dancing and ping-pong playing in the beginning, we watched some Spice Girls music videos and listened to the beautiful voice of Mariah Carey. Then, as the night was approaching and more people were coming (The party started at 1 p.m. but people were so late that they were arriving even at 7 p.m.) we were having more and more fun, be it in front of the television, in front of the computer, or just by talking and watching people dance.
Chris even made her special Omusubi for us to have some, until Cass had to ask what was in it, and she showed the ingredients to us, but one of the ingredients were little eel-like white blue-eyed thingies. I felt so bad for eating them, that I could eat anymore, I just ate the one that I put in my plate. Sofy in the other hand, seemed to be even more attracted by the food after she noticed the little eels. But still, thank you Chris! I loved the taste, but I just felt like eels aren’t for me… I hope you didn’t go through a lot to make them. Although, the food Chris made ended faster than our plates full of barbecue food.
at about 6:50, we decided to watch a movie that Cary rented, “The Messengers.” It’s such a terrible, terrible movie. It’s just like “Amityville Horror,” just a lot less scary and the actors are terrible. But still, it’s a pretty creepy movie, especially when you decide to look at the screen at the wrongest/worst moments, like when the borders of blood of the previous owner of the house that’s spilled onto the wall turns into the corpse of the woman. The story is mostly about a house and this family dyed in the house because of a mysterious person. Many years later, another family moves into the house and start to see the dead ex-owners, but only the teenager really relives the story of the family, the others only find out about their company towards the end of the movie.
The rest of the night was pretty much dancing and YouTube-watching. Everyone ended up leaving, and it was about 11:00 p.m. already. I took a ride with Cary and her parents to my house because my father and mother were out on a date.
As I have definitely mentioned before, Utada Hikaru’s next album is to be released March 19th (According to YesAsia). The day is getting nearer and nearer, of course, so with that, Hikki is promoting it more and more, and we, the fans, couldn’t be happier.
To begin with the title of the album, that from “Undecided,” went to “HEART STATION,” just like her next single that is to be released February the 20th. I feel like it’s a very, very beautiful title and couldn’t love it more.
It has also been determined that “HEART STATION” will have 13 tracks, 7 of them being brand new and never heard before, while the others are from her singles “Flavor Of Life,” “Beautiful World,” “Kiss & Cry,” “Boku Wa Kuma,” “Stay Gold,” and finally, “HEART STATION.” You even get a bonus if you pre-order a copy! You get a B2 sized poster! That’s awesome.
With all these fabulous updates, her album’s cover art couldn’t miss out, right? Well, here it is, straight from her website, so fresh and so beautiful:

But there’s still more! Her website also uploaded her promotional video (Or music video) for “HEART STATION” (The song), and it’s excellent! Anyone who’s not familiar with her work should check the video out! It’s a fantastic song and a great video! Here’s the link to the complete video:
