“Vacationative” TV Series

I love vacation because I can do one thing: Nothing. I spend all my time just in front of the TV while I play games in my laptop. I also have my special TV series schedule, since, when in school days, I can’t watch some of these series because they’re in the morning. Every vacation of mine there are series that makes me want to spend my vacation sitting on the couch just watching them. This vacation, I wanna watch “The Nanny” all day long, it’s like one of the best series EVER! If any of you don’t know what I’m talking about, you SO gotta watch it! Well, returning to what I was talkin’ about… in previous vacations I got addicted to “Gilmore Girls” and “Sex and the City.” I loved “Gilmore Girls” before, now I’m not a big fan, since it can get us tired sometimes, but I never got tired of “Sex and the City.” It was in Miami that I started watching it, it went on late at night, I don’t know how late, I was still getting used to the difference in time, so I slept a lot later… I remember keeping a package of life savers while I watched TV, it was so much fun, my sister watched it too, don’t worry, she’s mentally prepared for what went on in the series, and whenever I thought something was gonna happen, I changed the channel, so don’t think I’m an irresponsible brother, she watches “Jerry Springer” anyways. Well, we spent the whole night watching Carrie’s adventures through the streets of New York, and then we watched another show that passed after that, named “Daisy Does America” to some, it’s a stupid show, to others, who don’t know it and just read the title, it’s an inapropriate show, but it’s not that, it’s about this woman, Daisy who goes around America looking for different groups of people and see what they do, and then for some time, she would try to become part of that group, for example, once she met this rapper group, she spent some days with that group, dressing like they do, and doing what they do, here in Brazil, we have a similar show named “Tribos” or “Tribes” in English. Another series that I enjoy watching this vacation is “America’s Next Top Model,” just like Ms. Coggio stated: “I don’t know exactly why ANTM rules my life in America….Somewhere between their luxury accomodations, their fabulously girly insecurities, and the Tyra Mail I just lose myself.” and right after that best-1-hour-of-the-best-thing-of-the-week, I watch Desperate Housewives, Wednesday is SO the best day of the week (For now at least…).

I love vacation for this reason, we can watch how many TV shows we feel like watching, and no one to judge us, it’s vacation after all!

A New Year, A New Room

Soon vacation will be over, and I don’t feel prepared for a new year in school. I know I have Sofy and Cary, which will be my lights through the long, 4-semesters long, neverending dark tunnel called school. I don’t feel prepared for that long year we all crave to end. First it’s like: “Oh my, I love school, it’s gonna be an excellent year!” and then PUFF, all that illusion’s gone, like sand in the wind. We’ll have to do all that beginning of the year things, such as:

1. Put all these kinds materials into our lockers wondering if we’re ever gonna use all of them.

2. Recieve all these textbooks from our teachers, making us discouraged just to think about all the work we’re going to have through the year.

3. Become bored through subjects we hate, and teachers insist to teach us in the first day of school.

All these things are trivial, but they are SO annoying, I hate the first day of school, it’s the worst of all days of school (There are some exceptions, but all that depends on what’s going on at the time).

———————————————————————————-

Today was a very tiring day for me. My mother is re-decorating my room, FINALLY! it’s been that way since 1999, when technology didn’t exist, therefore my room is anti-technology, no TV, can you imagine that? Thank God I have my laptop, or else I’d be totally isolated. What I hate is that my room is so damn small. My sister has this friend who has such a HUGE room that she has a walk-in closet as well, leading into her bathroom, and she’s 9! I’m 13 and I don’t have a frikin’ walk-in closet! I need the space much more than her. What is a 9 year-old gonna leave in a walk-in closet anyways? Moving on, I had to take out all thoes things off my room, books, TV seasons, and every other things, I don’t know what happened to me, I guess I was in my throwing-out-all-my-meaningful-things day, I TOTALLY cleaned my room… I kinda felt bad in the end, since most of the things were gifts and all, from people that I care for, but it’s for the best, if I was to keep all that, I’d need a WALK-IN CLOSET!!!

The Weekend Of Discovery

This weekend I went to this wedding, and returned just now, it’s in some place two hours from Campinas and I was totally not looking forward to it, since weddings are always boring and long, and especially the party part. I changed my mind about that, sure they are boring, but it’s bearable, and if you saw how the groom was nervous, you would be happy for him, since everything turned out perfect! He didn’t stumble in any word, like he said he was gonna, although the woman who was SUPPOSED to sing didn’t sing, she screamed as if there was a cat stuck in her throat and she was trying to get it out with the sonic force of her voice… Really, our ears hurt, especially because she was so near the croud! The bride was very beautiful, and I mean it, she was the beautifulest bride I’ve ever seen! (Actually, I’ve only seen one, which was my aunt, and I don’t really remember because I was 5…) My sister and I felt bad for making up so many anecdotes about her before, anecdotes such as:

1. My sister was making thoes motions towards the altar before the wedding, I told her, imagine if the bride was behind you and you hit her on the head, and she falls down with her feet flying all over?

2. After all the people who have a special part in the wedding come in, and the people close the door behind them accidently, and then we hear this thud, they open the door and the bride is there, on the floor, with a black eye and her nose is swolen.

3. The last one: There were a bunch of people taking pictures behind the bride, over the groom, and etc… Imagine if one of these people stepped on the bride’s veil and she falls straight on the floor.

One party and a barbecue later (The barbecue was today, the wedding was yesterday) I took the 5 hour drive (the extra hours are from the barbecue place) I took some time to ponder on myself, like always!

If there is one thing you HAVE to know about me, it’s the fact that I hold on to grudges. I cannot stand these people that do something to you and come to you the next day and pretend nothing ever happened, I get even more angry at them. Even if I forget the reason of the fight, there is still something inside my brain that does not allow me to be friendly towards that person, it’s impossible for me not to hold on to grudges, that’s just the way I am! I have been told before that I have a very strong sense of justice, and I believe I do, my holding on to grudges is one of the “sub-topics” of this category, I believe that if having a strong sense of justice is a good thing, holding on to grudges is also something good, how are things ever going to be better if we ignore our problems anyway?

From The Ashes Of Hollywood

Britney is like the main “attention-grabber” now. She shouldn’t be anymore. People want to hear whatever they want to hear, there are millions of websites saying how she got pregnant, fat, addicted to drugs and all, but that’s SO yesterday. I don’t know if these people live in bubbles and have limited access to the real world, but they should stop saying things like that and understand that now she recovered from her addictions, she divorced from the reason of her decadence, her husband and is now TRYING to restore her dignity, but SOME people seem to live in bubbles and don’t let her do so. Yesterday I went to her website, and of course, it was getting ready to change style in the name of her new album, afterall, the style of the website HAS to match with the new album! On the website was a message by Britney talking about the “umbrella incident.” I really like Britney, but I don’t really believe what she was saying in her website. According to her, she was auditioning to a movie and she got too carried away with her role, and ended up beating a guy with he umbrella… unfortunatly, she didn’t get the part. Am I the only one who desn’t believe that? Later on, she asks her fans to decide a name for her next album, which is coming up this year… One of names was at least decent, but nothing to do with anything… I’ll give you the list of names:

1.OMG Is Like Lindsay Lohan Like Okay Like
2. What If The Joke Is On You
3. Down Boy
4. Integrity
5. Dignity

To me, “Integrity” should be the album’s name. The first title is WAY too stupid, unless her album is all about Lindsay being okay then it has nothing to do with anything. “Down Boy” is also weird… it doesn’t say anything, for example, Christina Aguilera decided to put “Back To Basics” because she was singing older-styled songs, therefore, she’s going back to basics, Hilary Duff decided “Dignity” because she had recently discovered what the word meant, and she decided it was a very strong word, she instantly liked it. Now, what does “Down Boy” say? nothing. “Dignity” is Hilary Duff’s album, it’s becoming very famous and I don’t think she should get the same name as a hit album that’s making so much success.

I think it’s SO great Britney is recovering from her previous “events” and all, that she’s making her fans participate in her professional life and everything, I couldn’t be happier for her, I just know that whenever that album is sold, I’ll buy it! Good luck to you Britney!

How Much I Love Music

I just love music. My iPod doesn’t have that much music, but I think that’s a good thing, since I can spend time knowing the songs I already have, so far, I have 821 songs.

I always loved Christina Aguilera. I remember listening to “Genie In A Bottle” in the radio when I was going to school, actually pre-school, I LOVED that song, but at that time, I didn’t give that much attention. In first grade, I listened to “Lady Marmalade” and LOVED it. Later on, in second grade, I remember listening to “Beautiful” when I was going to school, and again, I LOVED it. It was only in 6th that I heard “Genie In A Bottle” in the radio and remembered when I was in pre-school. I memorized the chorus and looked it up in the internet. some time later I bought all her albums, from “Christina Aguilera” to “Stripped.” I got to listen to her songs and discover that I remember listening to some! It was in 6th grade that I got the fame of being her #1 fan! Since I bought her albums, I searched for news, and “Back To Basics” was going to be released later that year. That was the beginning of how I ended up liking her so much!

By the way, the latest news on her reveal that she is really pregnant! congratulations Christina and Jordan!

Another singer that I like very much is Utada Hikaru. Utada is a bit different from Xtina since she is a japanese singer! I was introduced t her music through a game that I got a long time ago, in 3rd grade or 2nd grade I guess, the name is “Kingdom Hearts.” She sang “Simple and Clean” which was the theme song of the game, and for “Kingdom Hearts 2″ as well, but this time, the name of the song was “Sanctuary.” I then dowloaded some of her albums and I can’t stop listening to her songs, they’re addictive… I like on called “Blue” especially and another one called “Be My Last” they’re SO good.

I couldn’t live without music, all my vital energy would be sucked out of my body, only to leave a wrinkled being on the ground if I was to live without music.

The Trinity

As a first post, I’ll make a tribute to the best thing that ever happened in my life… my best friends ever.

I was always around Cary a lot. Since third grade, we’ve always been best friends, we always walked with each other, and Sofy was also around, we also became very good friends.

In 4th grade we were always together (Sofy and I) and I even remember that our dream was to become singers together, since we did everything together (Well, not EVERYTHING, everything two 4th graders can do). I also remember that we LOVED Avril Lavigne, and it was mostly she who bonded us! I’m sure everyone in school remembers our “Avril” era.

Sofy and I started to drift apart in 5th grade when we were separated, she was in the other 5th grade class, therefore, my friendship with Cary re-bonded, for a while. Later that year, I met Alice, and she helped me be a little more outgoing, in evil ways and stand up for myself, since I was a lot “shyier” than I was before, so Cary and I started to drift apart, again. This time, I started to hang out with Alice, Thais, Patricia and I don’t know what Vanessa was doing in that “evil-people” group, since she is SO not evil, but anyway, she was also in that group. I started to be introduced to other kinds of things, in which I really liked, like causing chaos in other’s lives, more pop music, and other things… It really was one of the best years of my life. Until Alice departed to another school, and I feel like part of my “evilness” went with her.

In 6th grade, I re-re-re-bonded with Cary, and this time it was for real, we walked together everywhere, we were always talking, and we became the first step to The Trinity, and Sofy was always hanging out with Giovanna Denucci. It was in 6th grade that my friendship with Alice got a lot stronger, we were always going to the mall together, with Patricia (We were the last three “evil people”) to watch movies and of course, cause mischief. All this happened and I was friends with everyone, no groups! Althrough in school, I only walked with Cary.

7th grade was the golden year for us, the birth of The Trinity. Ms. Coggio (Our english teacher) made Cary and Sofy work together, and they developed a very weird bond through CSI, and they used to joke around saying that they only became friends because they liked CSI. Sofy started to hang out with Cary and since I was always near Cary, Sofy became our best-friend! We now do everything together! but what “officiated” our friendship was our trip to Bertioga. They talked me into going on the 3-day school trip to some place. That trip made us bond even more, and created our best memories. We also created “On Our Way,” our first blog, together, but after some problems, we decided to abandon it, although it’s still in wordpress, in my blogroll. We each followed our paths in blog writing… we now have three separate blogs.

I don’t know where to begin, since I’ve already begun 2 times. I’ve had two other blogs, one was deleted by me and the other, which I shared with my two best friends, Sofy and Cary was abandoned after a serious fight, but the three of us have decided to follow separate paths, through separate blogs, I’ll post them up in my blogroll so you get the opportunity to check them out, they are very interesting, and of course, perfect, the best adjective to describe us, The Trinity.

HEART STATION is a continuation for my previous two blogs, “On Our Way” and “Heal Over” I hope you enjoy reading “Memoirs Of My Soul” and just so you get entertained, I’ll also post up a few videos through “Vod Pod.”
